We Believe:

• The Bible is our guide for Christian living and reveals God’s purpose for our lives.
• God calls us to participate in ministry.
• We are Christ centered, family focused and mission driven.
• Confession and acceptance of Jesus Christ is evident when baptized in His name. 
• God calls us to share the good news of His love for all people.
• Every person is free to explore and interpret Scripture according to his own experience of faith and is encouraged to do so with the nurture and guidance of the faith community.
•  Doctrines and human differences should not divide believers.

Participant Expectations

To be a follower of Jesus Christ is to live according to God's will.   As people faithful to God, we ask that all participants make the following commitment:

• Read my Bible, meditate upon the Word of God, and pray daily.
• Regularly attend the worship services and Christian Education classes.
• Actively participate in one of the church's ministries.
• Discover, develop, and make daily application of my spiritual gifts.
• Regularly share my faith with others and invite them to attend and become active in Spirit of Joy.
• Live according to the great commandment in Mark 12:29-31 to love God first, then love others as ourselves.
• Be generous in my stewardship to Spirit of Joy.
